Option 1: Adelaide Metro Jetbus J1 / J2

  • Travel time: 30 minutes
  • Running every 15 minutes, bus routesJ1 &J2 (essentially the same service) depart from Stop 10 Adelaide Airport. Exit the terminal, turn left (west) and go to the passenger pick-up.drop-off area on Sir Richard Williams Avenue. Running directly into Adelaide’s CBD, disembark at Adelaide Station – the city’s central intermodal hub with connections to bus, trams and regional trains.

Option 3: Taxi / Rideshare

  • Travel time: 15-20 minutes
  • Undoubtedly, the most expensive option from our list but the most private. In addition to taxis, Uber and DiDi offer private rideshare services from the airport. Expect to pay about $20-30 AUD for a ride.

Option 4: Bicycle

  • Travel time: 25 minutes
  • Yes. Seriously. You can bike from Adelaide Airport to the CBD. How many airports allow bicycle parking? Very few. Travel distance is about 7 km making for a roughly 25 minute ride.
