  • TheBus – Honolulu and Oahu’s bus transit system offers bus 20 for a direct connection to downtown Honolulu. Running every 30 minutes take the eastbound bus to head towards downtown Honolulu. Catch TheBus at marked stops on the second level roadway along the center median. Look for signs while in the terminal. 
  • There are multiple stops throughout downtown but the Hawaii Capital Historic District with the historical ʻIolani Palace at the center is your final destination.

Option 3: Roberts Hawaii Express Shuttle

  • Being a top leisure destination, Honolulu Airport offers multiple shuttle services to downtown Honolulu and beyond. The Roberts Hawaii Express Shuttle offers transfer to downtown Honolulu and throughout the island. Fare depends on the final destination. Option 4: Taxi / Rideshare

  • Travel time: 15-20 minutes
  • Undoubtedly, the most expensive option from our list but the most private. In addition to taxis, Uber and Lyft offer private rideshare services from the airport. If you arrive at rush hour expect to sit in traffic. Expect to pay about $30-40 for a ride.
