Option 1: UTA TRAX Green Line Train

Travel time: 20 minutes
Utah Transit Authority’s (UTA) offers theTRAX Green Line to downtown. Exit at the ground level of the terminal on the east side (Door 1A) and walk to Airport Station. This light rail line runs directly to downtown. Temple Square and City Center Stations are notable stops in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.
Consider purchasing aFAREPAY Card, Utah’s integrated fare card.
Fare for TRAX is $2.50.

Option 2: Shuttle Bus

Some hotels and private companies offer shuttle bus service from SLC to downtown. Check with Salt Lake Airport’s Information page.

Option 3: Taxi / Rideshare

Travel time: 15 minutes
Undoubtedly, the most expensive option from our list but the most private. In addition to taxis, Uber and Lyft offer private rideshare services from the airport. Travel time is approximately 15 minutes. Expect to pay at least $20-30 for a ride.
